Touchpoint is an add-on solution to IBM Connections that provides a guided, interactive experience for organizations to drive early user engagement.
Organizations can tailor Touchpoint to their specific use cases, which covers experiences like on boarding new users, recommending community and network connections, and polling. By promoting early engagement, users gain personal value out of their social business platform.
Business users dropped into IBM Connections without understanding the value of the social platform. Users can get more out of IBM Connections when it’s tailored to their interests and needs, but there was no way for users to quickly tell the system who they are and what interests them.
A colleague of mine did the upfront investigation and design work and I came in at the build phase when she left IBM. I took my colleague’s Sketch file and updated it to create a responsive design.
I then worked closely with the Development team to prototype the design and iterate through changes to get it ready for production.
We delivered a guided experience to understand the user and their interests, so they get a personalized IBM Connections experience.
